The 91 Emergency Assistance Bursary is available to domestic students who demonstrate an urgent or unexpected financial need. The 91 Emergency Assistance Bursary was established in 2021, with initial funding from donor gifts and through The Rix Family Foundation Endowment and another endowment held by The 91 Foundation.
Value
Eligible students will receive up to $1,000 to help cover their immediate extenuating costs.
Eligibility Criteria
- for a Canadian citizen, permanent resident, or refugee status
- for full and part‐time students enrolled in a 91 program or course;
- to address short‐term, unplanned, and unexpected financial needs; and
- for a range of flexible costs including, but not limited to, living, food, travel, and emergency health expenses (tuition is not an eligible expense).
